    Transformer coil

    Winding material lnsulated with an epoxy resin -environmentally friendly.

    Windings have high mechanical strength and no partial discharge and are non-flammable.

    The  windings are  manufactured with aluminium or copper conductors.


    FACTORY TEST

    What are the two types of transformer winding?

    There are two windings in a double coil winding transformer, each wound on the same iron core and connected by alternating magnetic flux. The voltage with more turns is higher, while the voltage with fewer turns is lower. Thus, it can convert one level of voltage into another level with the same frequency.


    What is the difference between low voltage and medium voltage transformers?

    According to American National Standard Institute(ANSI), high voltage transformers can handle a minimum of 115000 volts to a maximum of 11,00,000 volts; medium voltage transformers have a limited capacity of 2400 to 69000 volts; and low voltage transformers have a minimum voltage of 240 and a maximum voltage of 600.


    Voltage Transformers, also known as Potential Transformers, are devices that reduce the voltage from a higher level to a safe or acceptable level. They are parallelly connected transformers that present negligible load to the supply.


    It is possible to accurately measure secondary connecting connections with voltage transformers because they have an accurate voltage ratio and phase relationship. The switchgear in substations is usually on both the high and low voltage sides of the large power transformers. They are widely used in power plants, industrial plants, and traditional electric utility companies. Three types of voltage transformers exist:


    High voltage transformers

    Medium voltage transformers

    Low voltage transformers


    High Voltage Transformers

    A high voltage, an extra-high voltage, or an ultra-high voltage are associated with the transmission of power from the power plant. High voltage transformer winding must be controlled remotely or placed manually for proper maintenance and testing. They are transmitted to increase efficiency. High voltage transformers can be equipped with high voltage windings, high voltage isolations between windings, or both.


    Medium Voltage Transformers

    Voltage is inversely proportional to amperage, so when voltage increases, amperage decreases. Medium-voltage transformers consume more power than low-voltage transformers.


    Low Voltage Transformers

    Low voltage transformers have a rectifier that helps to convert their output into Radio Frequency Interference and direct current. In this type of transformer, electricity converts by transferring current from one set of electric windings to another.
